Idile-Alade Oluwa

Idile-Alade Oluwa, means God's Royal Family in Yoruba, is my senior year collection. I was inspired by my grandmother and my Nigerian culture. I travailed to Nigeria in February of 2021 to bury my grandmother. On the day of her burial a representative of the royal family come to her funeral. That was the day I and my siblings found out that she was a princess of a village in Nigeria. I love my culture, from the food to the way we dress. I focused on Plus-size women for my collection because I want plus size women to feel like royalty when they get dressed.
